Background Screening

Do you do background screening for candidates before they going for interview ? I have been approached axerated.com for their screening services.

Anyone here use their services ?

For fresh I think mainly on your education, I never engage any company for this kind of services before. But for me, senior position post should be screened

background screening is important. each time we wanted to conduct an interview, we will will do the background screening by calling the previous employer or the reference contact. this is to make sure that the candidate is not cheating because we have come across a case where a candidate claimed that he worked for A & B company for few years but when we checked, its a lie to make his resume looks 'cool' i think.

but we do it ourselves. not using any outsource services. lucky cuz we have employee liason officer to handle this kinda thing. anyway, didnt know that we have such services in malaysia. im sure the fee is expensive!
