You may find that you are fine with your company, but feel bored with your current position. If that’s the case, you may want to try switching into a different role within the organization itself. This normally happens to employee who loves the benefits given by the company.
But, before you may opt to move, there are few things that you should consider:
- How should you go about looking for these jobs?
- What if you do not find anything you like?
- How can you increase your chances of promotion?
- What can you do now to get noticed by the right person?
- What can you do get your boss job? (In case he/she is leaving)
After you have got grip to above answer, here are some of the things that you might want to practice:

- Fill Our Application Forms Correctly
- Keep Your Resume Updated, Short and Functional
- Write a Brief Cover Letter
- Follow Up with Phone Calls
Despite of these practice, there are few points that you should not do:
- You Take a Job Description at Face Value
- You Put All Your Eggs in One Basket
Whatever it is, if you feel that you need to change into new environment, the internal movement is the best step that you should take. Nevertheless, internal move is far more easier than external job changing.

Internal movement far more better than external movement. However, employer in Malaysia or local they didn’t really understand the logic in this theory, hence the turnover rate in local company is high.
